problems with water
Lately I've had a lot of problems with lack of water in my apartment in Kathu.
It's not supposed to be a problem this year as I've heard the water reserve is full.
The problem is mainly low pressure or no water at all
Anyone else having problems?????(water-related )
Geir

Had a small reduction in water pressure but did not last very long - after 9pm was back to normal full pressure.
The must be laying a new pipe some where - the Bang Wad reservoir is 85% full.

Its common where I live in Patong, come and go, so thats why most houses have water tanks to keep constant pressure and supply to the house.

Geir,
We were noticing the same thing. You may want to take a look at your water heater in the bathroom or what ever you have. As most of the water systems in the houses around here "may" have their own filter in the hot water system.
Un-screw the filter to clean it out. You'll probably find some algae (green moss) in it which does reduce the pressure of water flowing through.
If you don't have this kind of system, then it looks like you're fvcked and will have to dance around the shower to get wet!

I have "real" hot water from a tank on the roof. The problem is from the water-supplier(government). Now we got connected to a big water tank on the top of the big apartment-building next door and it's working again. But for some reason they won't keep us connected there all the time...........
Have to run to the shower now, hope it will last until I get the soap off my fat noggie body (sorry to put pictures in your heads)
Geir

Get a Bin
Geir - go and buy one of those big plastic dust bins and put it in the bathroom.Next time you have water fill it up and then keep it as a reserve. You can at least "Ap Nam" Thai style if you lose your supply.

Geir, it's also another bargaining tool you have the next time you have an arguement with Joy.
You can tell her to behave or she'll be put in the bin!

My bum gun pressure is good, just blasted one of those geckos right across the bathroom. He's OK, just shook his head and disappeared behind the mirror.
