Biggest Storm of 2008 In Uk Tonight
Hiya Fellas
Apparently it is coming to the Uk tonight; hope it stays away from Manchester and my house as I hide in Edinburgh.
Regards
Drew

My house has been around for about 300 years and still OK but these 'big' storms worry me when I am here. Dislodged slate etc Water damage etc
I do have a very good neighbour with my alarm code and keys who pops in once or twice a week to check around but..........Still a tad worrrying.
Was it, the storm as bad as it was built up to be here?

Stately Home
That is one of the worries of living in a stately home Mr D.
When do you open your doors to the tourists - after Easter maybe?

Its pretty calm in mid Wales, No wind, just a little rain.
Think most of the bad weather is down south.

Just watching Sky News
Seems South Wales the West Country and Dorset are worst Hit.
Hurricane Force 80 mph + winds, 100 flights cancelled and expected to peak at 6pm with the high spring tide.

It's been very stormy in Dorset, with trees down everywhere and flooding too.
Another big blow expected tomorrow before it eases off. Nowhere as bad as the "big" storm of '87 though. I think your gaff should be OK Denver, the South and South West had it worst.

Theyre only `big storms` when they hit the south. Had 80 plus winds in the north 2 weeks ago and nothing in the media. Soft southern b******s
