Little Help?

Would any of you guys who live out there like to help me source some paintings?

I have a contact with a retail outlet and he wants some artwork. It's not a one off, it needs to be something that can be sustained.

I know a guy in Patong Steve, done quite a few pics for my cousin and has several regular clients he sends painting too all round the world.

When you say source do you mean already done?? wouldn't it be easier to just say what pics you wanted and he'd do them and send them over?

My cousin sends him an internet site/address or pic and he copies it. I took a couple of pics back for him one time, in a sort of cut off drain pipe, was playing shoot em ups in the airport, pretending it was a bazooka, when it dawned on me that airport security might not realise how realistically my sounds were and next minute could get a 'freeze buddy, hands high'!!!, pretended it was a walking stick after than and perfected a very good lame walk!!

If you could put me in touch with him that would be great. It's for an 'ethnic art' sort of a place, so not really looking for particular pieces, more like a selection of Buddha paintings and traditional Thai stuff.

Is there a website or an e-mail address? Would mentioning your name help or hinder?

I'll pop in and see him tomoorow and get his details, not sure about website, also I'll ask in the paint shop in Lala. Its just the guy in Patong always seems so much cheaper than any other gallery I've asked a price for.

See what I can do, or if not will find out what you are looking for and take a few pics and send them to you. Reckon with a few pm's and emails we should be able to sort something even if he doesn't have a web site.

If all else fails, just send him/me some links to the style of work you are looking for and he will copy it or send you photos of his current stuff.

Oh yeah, he doesn't know my name but maybe telling him its 'big bald headed geezer that always bargains for a week before agreeing the deal' he will remember me.

Probably cut off the phone though before it costs him again!!!
