Buying a car

Currently looking at buying a new car, and looking at Toyota 2 door, 3 litre turbo diesel 4WD pick up, and have managed to get what seems to be a reasonable price.

Anyone got any comments, or recommendations, or experiences to share.

The rules for buying a car

My friend just bought a new car an Accord last week. He's married to a Thai so it's in her name. They financed it with 20% down so they also have to have a Phuket guarantor. The finance people came over to the house to check residence also went to guarantors house as well. They want to check many papers as well.

It's differant if you pay for all up front or pay 40% or more down.

Friend who owns Kat's Whiskers on soi gonzo bought a used motorbike and has had to go at least 5 times to try to change titles, he's very frustrated.

Just my two cents!

Cheers!
