Scrambled Sms To Germany

Anybody experienced the same problem?

When sending sms to Germany the recipients complain about receiving scrambled messages.
It seems as if they get a message that has been automatically translated to Thai. But since German phones cannot display Thai they get some crazy characters instead.

I have DTAC Happy.

This cannot be a phone specific issue since I tested different mobile phones.

Ok. I am not alone. ;-)

I thought or lets say hoped that this was a temporary problem.
But it is not.
Going to a DTAC store and asking for help did not work. All they do is call the helpdesk and let you talk to them - which is not very easy due to often limited English language abilities.
So I hope there is anybody out there who knows what to do.

Send a message via ICQ to nacha
I know what you mean... this also happend already some times to me (girl sending message to me)
don't know why, maybe it's really just a temporary operator problem!
but the messages were sent in english, not thai (which also works fine with my phone)

right. i also tried to send an english message to the same german phone to test if there is a difference.
I had the chance to test that since the recipient was standing next to me - holding his german cell phone in his hand.
but the problem was the same with the message written in english.
i never have a problem when sending messages from my thai phone to another thai phone. or to be specific: both phones are either dtac or true.
and this is not a temporary problem.
for me it is permanent since a couple of weeks.
