Re - Upholstering ??
Moved into new place and theres a nice comfy sofa set, that it looks like some insane jealous woman has run a knife over most of the cusions / back etc.
Rather than bin it and buy a new big sofa set, does anyone know of any re-coverers ?? Itsmore than just loose covers or any seamstress shop could copy, its the back upholstered bits too. (plus a big screen TV and other bits, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and all that !!). Its big, comfy, fits the room, etc and seems a shame to waste.

Was looking for this as well - (not for same reason, K1 has not been attacking the furniture that is, kids have though). She found somewhere in Kathu just before the village coming from Patong (LHS of the road), didn't pursue it any further as thought might as well wait for CM.

Also in the same boat.... bought new sofa set from Home Pro 3 years ago and it doesn't look so nice now but is still so comfortable i dont want to chuck it, so pass on any upholsterer info as will if i find anything.... have had a scout round Phuket Town but nearest i found was car seat upholsterers but they dont do sofa's
Will try to find the place K2 is on about and report back, as i'm in Kathu.... are you talking about the village before Country Club golf course or the village just after go cart tracks

There is a guy in front of the soi where I stay who does that, for motorbikes, cars, tuk tuks, bars stools and sofas, what I have seen.

We have a shop that does our sofa cushions, bar cushions, drapes etc., that seems to be fairly reasonable. They have many fabric samples to choose from, then they can give you a quote. Let me know if you would like to get in touch with them.

Thanks for the tell number Bill.. I wil get Bee on to them if we dont score with the Kathu one.
Do you think they do proper upholstering ?? I can get throw cushion covers done with a sew shop, its the fitted stuff I dont know if they will screw up ??
