Thai Airway's air cargo partners was useful for me. My dad left boxes at Sthlm airport and I picked it up at Phuket airport.

Hi Osmar -

I talked to the mover I'm using here in Phuket - Phuket Universal Services Ltd

The guy who runs the company (Peter Bricknell) has been pretty helpful and given me sensible quote for my move to Chiang Mai.

I called him to ask who he has found as a reliable partner in the UK and he recommends ABLES -

Suggest you email/call Peter and get more info as in any case you will need a receiving agent in Phuket to clear customs and deliver to your home here in Phuket.

pusco@phuket.ksc.co.th

Website Phuket Universal Serivces

Tel +66 (0) 76 238 824

For BM's moving within Thailand the prices quoted vary enormously - Pickfords wanted 210,000 Baht!! down to K1's family do some ad hoc operation for 30,000++++, when I found Peter at PUSCO who has been very helpful and cost wise 25% more than the Missus family job (excluding cost of likely piss up after wards).

Will post how the move actually went in due course.

BTW, does anyone know where its possible to rent bigger trucks? Would be nice sometimes to have plenty of space instead of using pick-ups multiple rounds when moving.

Yes Abels do have a good reputation in the industry.

If you opt for there full-service, I would still pack anything 'sensitive' or very fragile yourself, of course. From previous Uni jobs, I know that accidents and losses does happen.
