Tops closed down in KL i think, too expensive. I buy my meat fr Euro Deli, good pork prices. Euro Deli Sdn Bhd
I notice there is a Euro Deli at Soi Sansabai also, thought was the same, 555.

I always think of Tops as a large deli as opposed to a small supermarket. Deli prices as well make even Carrefour look cheap.

You'll have a long wait - I'd have to chop down the trees to cook something here now - beginning to feel like a cave man!
BTW how many sausages could I get for 2500 Baht?
Nels - dont know why meat is so absurdly expensive here, that one things about Phils is meat is better quality and about the same/cheaper than it is back in farangland. Tops certainly bit a rip off at the moment but I did find some Hob Nobs for 89 Baht - (dont bother looking - I bought all of them )

Meat is getting more expensive around the world due to live stock feed prices rocking up partly due to bio fuels.
Went out for a steak dinner the other night. So-so quality. Was 600 baht each and that is a good deal these days.
Other places are trying to hold prices but the quality is dropping. Just going to get a BBQ and do it at home.

TOPS is not so bad if you have the discount card which is free and only takes 30 seconds to get it...just show your passport. You'll see many items have 2 prices on them...if you have the card you get the lower price.
It's Carrefour that has some outrageous prices. I've just treated myself to a Samsung 32" LCD TV series 4....18990 in TescoLotus...same one in BigC 22990....just seen same one in Carrefour 27990!!

Carrefore electrical items are expensive.. But they just have so much good stuff that none of the others do, pate, cheese, good breads, etc etc etc..
Plus I hate the fact that tesco and Big C play the sell by date game.. Buying stuff to find out it goes off in a day etc.. That doesnt seem to happen in CF..
