Not that it really matters, but wouldn't that be an Ohio person (Cincinnati) who won Mega Millions. A game that is also played in California.
What would I do?
Something revolving around Thailand comes to mind (at least initially).
BTW, the winner does not net 200 Million. As a lump sum the price is just over half. After that taxes are due (in the highest bracket). But 65-70 million would still be nice.

Set aside some $$'s to learn Internet Marketing. The rest invest in blue chip securities.
And before someone jumps on me, I've found IM offers the best return for the $$. It does take awhile to learn the ropes, and they're are a million 'gurus' out there to take your money. But it's the cheapest way to start a business, with low entry costs.
I quit my job last year to do IM fulltime and haven't looked back. Sure, it's not all roses & champagne, and I'm still learning, but it sure beats the 9-5. And it is the dream job, work from anywhere you have internet access. It's what I'll be doing for the next 3mths while I'm in Thailand.

Maybe we can see eye to eye on this topic. Your saying that you would just invest money in the highest return income funds that you could find? Like GICs or high % savings?
Thats what i have been thinking about doing. Its low return but its bulletproof and your doing nothing for the money.

What I meant was I would do the same things with 150k as I would with a 200 million account.. Your still looking to protect against falls, diversify, and get the best 'safest' return.
Investing is something you either need to decide not to dfo and just deal with managed funds, or be consumed by it to devote you time to thinking about the issues non stop. Personally I think theres as much about human nature, crowd behavior, and people things than there are about financial statements and economic output. I know I focus on the psychology of the crowd and the 'mood' of people more than I focus on the PE ratios, cash books and forward sales of a stock.
