Hi Maya & welcome to the board.
When you say 1st time , do you mean 1st time trying to sort out a visa or 1st time in los ?
If you mean los then i think you should be careful , getting a tg pregnant is not the wisest of ideas unless you happen to be quite wealthy and able to support her.
I can't help wondering if you know this lady for a long time or if you just met her on your 1st holiday to thailand ?
I wish you good luck though and hope it all works out ok 4 u

Also what I've heard UK is a lot more difficult to get a visa for than rest of EU, lot of people are declined visa for UK but Sweden among other countries are pretty easy as long you bring the required documents.
I dont know for UK but for many other countries you can download application forms from the embassy websites.

UK is pretty easy if you bring the right documentation and don't make a fool of yourself applying. A pregnant GF though could be another matter altogether.
Fill in your forms correctly.
provide plenty of financial info.
Provide as much history as possible of a long term relationship....3 weeks does NOT cut it anywhere.
Get a letter from her employer guaranteeing her return.
if she is not obviously pregnant don't tell them, there is no way they'll give a visa to a woman to come to UK to have a baby. FULL STOP.
The UK embassy is fair, but tolearte no messing around, I've got visa's for factory workers earning 7,0000B a month, but they were honest and above board...thet's all the Embassy want.
Good Luck, I feel you will need it.

Getting visa is (in my experience) a lot easier than people claim but takes the right attitude and approach.
The UK is tougher than the rest of Europe.. One thing I can see as a possible issue already is applying for a VISA for a thai girl to visit an Italian while you are in London.. Why london ?? are you working there ?? are you 'permanent' there ?? Do you have UK residency registration and tax payment.. Far far more risk of her dissapearing than over staying with a British national living in his own home area.. To be honest I see this as a very tough visa application. Perhaps consider a Schengen visa for your 'home' country (easier all round) ??
Theres lots of other threads.. In general what any VISA issueing embassy or consulate wants to see (for a tourist visa) is a need or desire to return at the end of the visa duration.. Job / family / etc reasons she will not overstay, the pregnancy etc seems to me to be a very strong mark against this application (as a tourist as a fiance it would change I would think)...
Either way she will only get a max of 6 months first time round.. Then have to return to Thailand..
I will leave comments as to how well you know the girl or even the paternatiy of the child to others..

BTW I forgot.. You do the letter of guarantee yourself.. Documenting your address and agreeing to guarantee her costs of living (if she does not have suitable monies in the bank) etc..

I cant agree it's very difficult to get a visa for the UK, even if you are sensible and can present yourself effectively.
It took the 3rd attempt before my gf got her visa and the reason of success? We have a linited company operating in Thailand for 1 year. If they even sniff a hint of BG then forget it. The embassy people are not stupid.
If it wasnt such a big issue then why are there whole websites dedicated to this, look at them you will then realise the volume of disappointent many people have had
You have to show your own financial credibility, accommodation details, e.g enough space for her to stay
Does she have good reason to return to Thailand, e.g. responsibilites, job, assets
If you are applying for a fiance visa then I reckon this is easier than a visitor visa as long as you can prove you are credible couple
I could write a book about this, but there are many websites that can help you

Dont know all I can say is..
First try.. BG TG me taking her to Holland (I was registered in NL) visit, no interview visa granted 3 months..
Me again with Kim, she was dripping in gold with giant silicone tits, prada boots, 600 euro gucci shades (not subtle) visa for UK, visit, no interview visa granted (only asked for 2 months was happy to give 6 if desired)..
My little brother BG GF (again to holland but in another person name as no registration) visit had to make interview a couple of weeks later VISA granted.
My little brother BG GF to Holland (different girl) visa granted after interview and ****around..
My little brother, same girl to NZ.. She had ballsed a visa up before and had family in NZ (high risk of not returning) took a dleay of about 6 weeks as it was over christmas.. They screwed around a bit but did come through.. He was not registered at all in NZ just vacationing..
My little brother again same girl Visa for UK first time for 6 monts took application and interview.. They then smuggled her through N ireland into the republic rather than bother with another visa app..
Second time they were told (after tsunami) to apply by filling the forms and drop box as it was a cert.. turns out it wasnt and she was denied and he has had to wait 3 months and re apply.. she just had another 6 months issued in the last couple of weeks..
Thats 4 girls into lots of countries.. never had one say out and out no but have been some messing to my brother.. I have never even had a girl need to have an interview.. thats for UK and schegen.. To be fair the UK one Kim was already married and we could show 2 years of living together (both flying back to Thailand and back to holland same flights every 3 months for a month, good history)..
Maybe I am lucky..
