Car tires

Anyone change the tires on your car lately?

Ballpark figure ($$$$) on reasonable costs, anyone?

I'm guessing anywhere from 1700thb, to 2500thb, per tire.....close?

(Toyota Vios)

Don't forget you can trade-in your old set for a couple of hundred baht per tire.

I'm a good "guesser", I guess. 5555

My "friend" confirmed via phone call to "Toyota shop" in Buriram....

Tires "like same when new...", run at 2250thb per tire.

Michelen tires run at 3600thb per tire!

Feckin' dealers are the same everywhere I guess...3600 baht per tire FFS!

Pabs, personally I'd be sourcing a tyre (Oz way it's spelt 555) outlet, moreso than a car dealership.

Will be doing that for sure, Craig.

Probably get the same Michelin tyre, for much less at an outlet.

Just can't get over how "big time dealers" seem to gouge their customers on follow up parts, etc.

I replaced one tyre recently, they didnt have the original model but picked another one (dont want to use the temporary tyre any longer) and I paid 3500 baht. I think it was Michelin. (The tyre place close to Toyota dealer in Phuket Town)
