I used to have a fast line and good ping in games, last two days extremely bad results when gaming.
Checked with netspeed.net to Bangkok server now...
Which shows how bad it is at the moment... It is only me or do others also have bad line at the moment? My router has also been somewhat instable lately, so it may be my router.

Got to be something wrong with your connection Nicke, Ping to Bangkok shouldn't be 500+ms
I get this but don't know what good upload/download speeds are!

My Maxnet is working well though a few times over the last couple of days the DNS has been down for a hour or so.

Ping is where you send a echo packet to a host operating system (internet provider). It measure the time to send the echo to the computer and then return to you.

My cheapie line has been consistent since they connected to the new lines or whatever it was that happened.

I'm with Sky as well, and paying for a 20mb line is a waste of time if the BT line is not up to it. There is a website, probably BT, where you can check the line capability. I pay for an 8mb line and just doing the test now, I'm happy.
