Green Man fund raising
I have just been told that the Green Man pub is raising funds; they are only going to raise money for local people, the main charities are doing a great job but they will channel most money to Sri Lanka (and absorb a percentage themselves). The Green Man will be distributing what they raise to the communities directly.
First prize for the raffle is a full set of Calloway clubs & bags woth about 2,000 quid in the UK. They will be selling their tickets tommorrow, Thursday, at their quiz nite and then they are having a fundraising day on Sunday with lots of entertainment for the kids. The raffle will be held on Sunday I don't know how much the tickets are, but I have got a friend of mine to buy some for me.
