Hey Geir
How is it going with the progress of your new bar.Are you too busy getting drunk and sleeping or is the bar nearly ready?  And have you decided on a name yet? Will it be "The Darkside"

He had some plans but I am not sure they are working out. So I guess he continue looking for possibilities...

The bar I had booked in soi Viking is still on hold. No one seem to know if there is going to be built a new bar-soi there or not. I have also looked for a bar in soi modis, opposite the Bangkok Bank, but the rent (28000 pr. month) scared me away.
So Im still looking around (when Im not drunk) trying to find the right thing. Mybe a guesthouse is a better idea. Im going to look at one today that might be for sale.......I will let you know as soon as I have something confirmed. Geir

I know of a guesthouse / hotel for sale in Karon but the cost of entry into this market is WAY WAY higher.. Of course so is the return.

Moving down in a couple of month's. Looking for some place to run and live on. 3 mill. Bht gonna be limit for me. Will inform Nicke where I.m staying. He knows a little of my plans. See you in MTB.

I am looking to do same same in a few months. The three of us should pool our money and kick in 2-3 million baht each and get something a little more "deluxe". Just a thought......

Finaly
Today I signed the contract for my new bar. Im going to open in a few days, as soon as the licens for acohol and the change of name is done.

JeyBee....Its a small bararea with 5 beautifull bars located at the end of the beach road. Its on the corner just where you turn to left to go to Karon. Sunset Plaza. Geir
