Used to be you could buy passports from defunct African countries (hence untraceable) but the issue was african passport holders cant go anywhere without visa's so it was moot really.. soldier of fortune was always a good place to look for bent passports..
I hold multiple passports from multiple countries anyway.. Just a bit of insurance.. Legal issues in some countries prompted me to have to make some changes..

I heard from a Swedish guy who was involved with a Swedish government project and thus met lot of high Thai officials and ministers that it was possible to buy a Thai passport for 300,000 baht from one of them.
The question is, if I'd bought a Thai passport, do I still need to do visa runs and such?

No you wouldnt.. It would confer thai nationality and hence you could vote, own property / land, reside indefinately in the country, etc..
If thats serious and the passport holds inspection (eg its not a forgery, but your really in the system and it can be renewed) I would take one immediately..

Its funny because my mam was born in england also(Swindon), But it was only due to my grandads work and they moved back over to Ireland about a month or two after she was born, But you even mention, Even as a joke about her being english she would chop your head off, And as you can tell she never held a Uk passport always an Irish one.
PS: Due to them circumstances would I be able to get a UK passport if I wanted to in the future, As Livinlos said it might come in handy even if it is a british one Anyone?? And if so where could I apply for one?

55555... But seriously I always thought I could get an english passport if I wanted to, As on my mothers birthcert it says she was born in swindon?
The reason why I always thought that was because if god forbid I ever wanted to play for the english football team, I would be able to due to my mother being english born? Can anyone confirm this?

I believe if your mother and yourself are born in the UK you can gain citizenship.. IIRC even with you only being born there it is possible..
Well worth it having dual nationalities.. Tho an irish passport is safer to travel if going through middle eastern countries.. I may have some Libyan contract work and have been advised that using an irish passport would be safer if i have to transit within the region.

I might check it out sometime but as LivinLos said its always a lot safer to travel on an Irish passport as were more or less a neutral country.
The main reason I was thinking about it was because I thought a British passport might get you into some other countrys without a visa but I may be wrong, If you hold a bitish passport do you still need a visa for a 30day stay in austraila for example? Anyone....
