Electric cost per unit
I have a feeling I am about to have an argument with my landlord
What should a single unit of electric be ??
I specifically asked before moving in and was told it was the standard electric bill charge.. The bill however seems high and I want to get this established right as its the first months bills I just recieved.

4 baht/unit is quite normal, for business it is usually 6 baht/unit.
I had a friend long time ago who rent a room, he moved out because he had to pay 7 baht/unit.

Thats a lot, any idea how you can use so many units?
I also had another friend who rented a house, next to the landlords own house. He always paid too much (in my opinion) and I think both houses used the same electric meter and thus, he had to pay for his landlords electric usage too.

I know its a lot... The house definately has its own meterage system and the people around me are too loaded to be tapping in.. I have flipped my trip switch on the whole property and the meter stops (I know the games)..
I am guessing the pool pump system might churn a fair bit and I have got slacker lately and let my GF keep AC on when I would simply use the fans (thats stopping )... other than that not much I can think of.. Its an electric oven here but I dont use the dryer, dishwasher or other electric intensive appliances, 3 computers 24/7 but that was the same at the old place..

You think 1000 baht is a bloody surprise? Sounds quite normal if you dont have an aircon. Or?

No its normally 600 to 700 baht. I know things are going up here at an amazing rate, but thats abit too much of an increase in one month.
