I've tried several online property sites who just keep trying to offer me places that I have explained several times to them I just cannot afford or want to pay (6 Million to the stars!) Needless to say, I have stopped enquiring.

I am trying to be realistic in my finances as people seem to forget the overheads of owning or leasing a property, there are still the bills, amenities etc to pay. I would also want to be able to run a small car around, eat and socialise. I like to try and keep within the law of the county I am in. I've been thrown out of a couple of countries for trying to avoid costs that the locals have to pay, so why not the expat! Not big - Not clever.

Looking for a year initially to sound the place (LOS) out with a view to selling up in the Czech Republic and the UK. Also looking at Kamala, Kata or anywhere further south (Nai Harn, Rawai) isn't really a problem. 22-25,000BPM, ideally two bedrooms but one fine. Shared pool if available. I still have my current full-time job which is 12 weeks on - 4 weeks off, so the potential to be able to sub let while I am away would be good. If not, definately some good on-site security.

If you can put me in touch with anyone who may know of anything on the market right now, that in yours and thier opinion think is viable, would you PM me if possible?

I am in Patong 10-24th September, I have three or four properties lined up to go and have a look at through chatting with the agencies. Any suggestions LivinLOS, would be greatly appreciated.
