I use Skype to my family and business contacts for PC to PC calls but PC to landline for free !!!!! Also any of you that have GF's here (with a PC) and you back home might want to set this up...

Well if you wanna be clever...
Linux has a veriety of SIP phones and the service can be used via username and password throught thier servers using alternative HW and SW.. Read the MAN pages !!! Like Linux support is not provided by the developer  [RANT] If you wanna use a non mainstream OS dont complain that mainstream apps dont cater to you... I also use Linux boxes sometimes but you wont find me moaning that <insert small application> does not work on *nix BSD or OSX... [/RANT]

Seems like only G711U is supported if you check thier forums sip proxy seems to be sip.voipbuster.com and all account details needed are listed..

Call free to Thai mobile and landline.
I got 40 minutes free call to my tilaks mobile phone on the trial period. Then I payed 10 euro and I can call unlimited to her, and a lot of others countries to. For 10 euro, you can call free for 120 days. I will spend the 10 euro on swedish mobile calls and phone my lady for free.  It really works! I have tried this proggy...unfortunately cos of my location I cant register and I cannot make it change the firewall or proxy settings..... but what i did find out is that a lot of ppl are very unhappy with VoipDiscount. I did some research and googling around.... Seems they lure u in then cos u use it too much calling free they kick you out....so the free offer lasts a few days if ur lucky..... some class action law suits are apparently under way. H3X

I call to thai mobile phone every day, 30-45 minutes and landline to Luxembourg . It still works. I will report if I got kicked out. I have called free for more then 10 euro so I have saved a lot of money.
If I get kicked out, I will install the program on my sonīs computer and get another trial period. If I find out how to clean my pc regedit then I reinstall it over and over again and only use the trial period. Or is that a dream? repeter

I have dynamic ip address. I just click Start, run, (type) cmd (enter) ipconfig /renew (win xp)
Then i get a new ip address. I have 2 network cards in my pc, my son have 2 network cards in his pc, I can plug in my old shitty pcīs... But I have only one router... But it still working. If there is some class action law suits about them, I dont think they will kick more people out. They will be out of business!Lets see whats happen. repeter

After some research VoipDiscount is apparantly a company started up by Finarea which also has started a number of other voip company's. And they are known for offering a service for a short while and then changing all the fee's around as they please. But either way its still worth it as long as it works.
The best phone card from Sweden i suppose is TopTime, which offers 268min of call time to Thailand mobiles for 10Euro and Skype is even more expensive i believe. I would not use my credit card to pay them tho, but i would use paypal without any question.

I just installed it today and registered. i wasnīt asked for paying 10 euro. Thailand is in the list for superdeal, no feeīs. i called my GF on her mobile and had the same quality of voice as from landline. I used a pre-paid card from Gold Connect, wich is 5 for 127 min to thai mobile. But now i will try voip as long as it works. Even if they will charge sometime a few cents it wiould be still cheap. If they get more expensive than the pre-paid cards i just drop them. Anyway saved already some money, and if it works 120 days it already saved my ticket to LOS.

i use VOiP buster and i think the quality of the calls isnt very good but i cant complain because i can call my mam for free back in ireland. also keep an eye on your credit as they seem to overcharge.
