What do think about.......
Ive got an offer to buy a small bar with a massageshop in Nanai Road. Its located in a guesthouse that are full booked for all high season......in case I would buy it I would have cleaned out the massage and put in a pooltable instead. My thought is that most of the people staying at the guesthouse would spend some time in the bar....and enjoy to play pool in a place with aircon..........price 250k and 13k for rent every month.
This is just a thought..........
Interesting to know about what you guys that know Nanai more than me think about a thing like this.....

is it in your guesthouse that you are staying? get an idea about the kind of people that stay there. wet willy's definiteltly gets a good amount of there business from the guys that stay there. me, simon, g, and tom. if the people who stay there like to drink, which people who stay on nani usually do, and its not too expensive, id do it

How long is the lease ???
250 for one year would have to considr how much trade you would get.. brings the price to 33 or so per month.. need min 60 - 70k turnover per month to pay the rent..
Over 3 years it makes it a lot more appealing of course

The lease is at least 3 years, actually I think its 5. Might even be a one time payment and then only the monthly rent for as long as I want it.........

The massage make no money at the moment, and the police have forbidden them to sell alcohol as they dont want massages and bars to be same buisness.......no alcohol in the massage for some reason

Sounds like a good idea to clean this massage place and put in a pool table
instead so people can come and relax and have some fun .
Then also wery near to food (Kebab house).

Geir, I think you should wait and see what happens first and keep the money for the time being. Or take over the kebab house and run fast food service instead, the latter one should work fine in high season.

Definitely find out the terms of the lease, it sure does sound that your not entirely sure. If it were me, I would also take the massage bit out, as you are only inviting unsolicited MIB visits, if you know what I mean.

Kebab house closed a few nights ago... Heard he was not doing well..
Shame, hardly had time for people to know about it..
Also be aware of taking too many things on at once.. I go to a bar because of who is in it.. If you have 2 bars people cant / wont visit you in both, though the idea of having the guesthouse residents could help..
Lats face it 13k rent is not a lot of drink to sell.. Its how much 'other' investment is needed..

Thanks for the advices, I only got the offer yesterday so its nothing I have been thinking about for a long time. Just interesting to know what you guys think.
And yes, Im going to keep the darkside.......it might be a darkside 2 soner or later  or something like that.
I like to look around and se what buisnessopertuneties that are avaliable at any moment..........thats what Ive been doing for the last 10 years back home, and I win some and loose some. Guess thats whats buisness is all about.
