Kebab House
As many of you now the Kebab House have been closed for a few months, as the swedish owners never payed the rent. They have also borrowed money from a lot of the expats in Patong, and never payed back..........
Anyway, the Kebab House (oposite Ubon Market in Nanai) is now for sale. I think the owner of the guesthouse where its located want about 350k in key-money and 13k a month for rent. He have also buildt a small bar outside, and also bought a pooltable............... If I knew anyone that could make good Kebabs, hamburgers etc, I might have hired them and bought it myself..................... Geir

Key money for what term lease is important..
Burgers on nanai doesnt feel too profitable to me.. Need to have a good reputation and easy delivery to make appealing.. The fact the previous person didnt make a go of it is always a warning sign.. At least high season is nearer now..

The key-money is for at least 5 years, and the reason why the old owners went down might be the quallety of the food........For the first month I thought the food was good, but as they run out of money, the qualety went down. They started up the buisness in low season with no money in their pocket, and ended up selling food that had expired on date........
I think the buisness have a better chanse to survive now since it include a bar with pooltable .............but its no way to make easy money in Los at the moment anyway....................... Geir

geir,
do you mind if i give you advice? it seems to me that you want to jump right into things. remember, you hav plenty of time, you just got there as a long time residnt. i suggest you sit back, develop the darkside and see what happens. #1, enjoy youtr 1st 6 months of full time residence. always keep your ears out for good opportunities. also, i got a kebab from tha place, i thought it sucked! give me a chicken gyro from te place near tiger any day
