stay on the airport ,if you want you can get a room in the duty free zone,
in the duty free zone is a casino, you can smoke in the restaurants,if you have a laptop you can go on the internet and come to this board.
if you leave the airport you must be back 2 hours before departure half an hour or more to the center of ams back the same expensive taxi's and only 3 hours to spent in ams.

Plenty to do in the airport. Right above the casino where the (private) airline lounges are, they also have "relaxation" areas with loungers and on the wall is a huge screen showing nice relaxing films, the sort of thing that where you imagine a camera on the front of a bicycle as you peddle through some country lanes. Not many people seem to know about these areas and there always seems to be loungers available. A couple of hours nap there and the rest of the time will be just like a normal connection
However, if it was me I might be tempted to go in to central Amsterdam, but I know the place really well, as I lived there for 3 years. I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you really knew your way around.

Just in case you have ever been a ''midnight toker''
Don't be tempted to visit the coffee shops for a couple of hours as they do the random urine tests in los.

starting 13h00 the red light district will have ladies available. Take the train to the central station (only around 20 minutes from airport to cs) , and red light distric is 7mins from the station, fukin easy to find. Early in the afternoon you'll find most ladies near the Oude Kerk (church) part of the red light. As standard rate is 50€ for 15mins leaves you plenty of time to enjoy. There are a few thai ladies working in the afternoon.. great time with them. IMo avoid the eastern european ladies like the plague...
pm if you want some more info
