Hi everybody this will be my first trip to Thailand i will be there in October but can someone tell me what is the going rate for short & long time with bar girls in Phuket. I was planning on finding a Thai wife, but after looking at this great site i said to myself stuff it, i rather do this.

Most times it would be ( and please correct me if I'm wrong ) around a 1,000 - 1500 baht plus bar fine of 200 - 400 baht for long time and at those rates why would you bother with short time I have'nt so can't say what they would be !

The going rate for beer bars in Patong is:
barfine: 200 B everywhere.
ST: 500 B.
LT: 1000 B.
Never say to ladies that it's your first trip otherwise, they will try to ask you for more.
During my last trip, I meet a girl that I used to see one year ago. She is now working at Tiger as freelancer. She told me that it's more easy to work as freelancer as some farangs are not aware of the going rates. Her last customer gave her 3000 B for a 2 hours short time session. Yeah, some farangs are really stupid !

I was told that it would be between 2000 to 2500 baht for long time this was by the hotel that i will be staying at, maybe they want some of the money ? if the going rate is 1000 baht for long time at beer bars then what is the going rate for go go bars or is it tha same and which go go bars would be the best to visit.

The prices are up to the ladies.

I have ladies in the bar who dont go with customers for less than 2000 baht and it's their decision and their body.

But a general thumb; gogo ladies generally asking for more money than the ladies in the bar.

That 2000 - 2500 baht charge is just what the hotel is going to charge you for an "extra person " in your room that night. Some hotels more but most less. It pays to find a good reasonably priced hotel that charge No joiner fee ( C& N is one ) First time I stayed at a well known beachfront hotel it was 500 next visit 1,500 ( this is when I started booking my own accomadation at C&N ) and last visit I ran into one of the ladies I had that first visit and she said they were charging 3000 very nice hotel but not that good !

I have never had a girl get angry with 1,000 for LT and 500 for ST.
Don't ask.

Many girls I know like to go to Tiger and ask 2,000...I am not sure if they get it? I have not found any corelation with price and quality.

The best girl I have ever had in TH cost me 500 baht for LT...

Most of the times, I never had to negociate the price before and ALL the times girls were really pleased with the 1000 B note I gave them the next morning.
BUT sometimes, before paying the barfine, some will ask you how much you are ready to pay and you'll have to bargain to drop the price from 2000 to 1500 or 1000 B. Of course, the final decision is up to the girl and you cannot force them to follow you.
According to my experience, I never received a better treatment from that kind of girls so there is absolutely no reason to overpay. I really hate that kind of behaviour so I simply ignore them as there is so much choice in town...

I have been to Phuket some times now and I never had a girl that told me the"rate".

I normaly give them all from 1000 to 3500. I depends how satisfied I would be after.... - but normaly 1000 - 1500 baht.

I probably go to Patong in September to live there, maby I see you there...
