I'm planning a vacation to Phuket after the summer and am trying to plan my daytime events (The nighttime seems easy enough). If anyone has done these activities, can they rate(1 to 10) or comment on them for me and the benefit of other new travelers:

1. Elephant Trek
2. SeaCanoeing in Phrang Nga
3. Phuket Paint Ball
4. The Gibbon Rehabilitation Project
5. Phuket PhantaSea Show
6. Thai Culture Show on Thepkrassatri Rd.
7. That Tranny Show .. Simon Cabaret
8. Anything you want to mention

My top ten list of things you should do:

1. Phuket Fanatsea
2. Simon Cabaret
3. Sea Canoe in Phang nga bay
4. Daytrip to Phi Phi island
5. Eat at the restaurant at Prompt thep cape during sunset (the south end of Phuket)
6. Snorkeling / Scuba Diving
7. Phuket Shooting range
8. Rent a motorbike and drive around the island and visit other beaches and waterfalls, including GRP. This is also a great for visit #5.
9. Phuket Town (you should visit in both daytime and nighttime)
10. ATVs, Paintball, Elephant trekking

If you are here for the first time, some guided tours in bus is also fine to learn more about the culture and some odd places.

Hi,

I have not done canoeing at Phang Na, but I have been on a boat trip 3 times. The scenery is incredible, and people have been canoeing, so I would definately recommend Phang Na

Simon Cabaret is a very professional and well done show. You should try to see it.

I agree with Nickes number 4 and 5.

nicke advise on number 7 phuket shooting range.

worth a visit once.
quite expensive for the amount of time you shoot.
takes longer getting there and back then it does shooting.
i'm not into guns and that stuff so i did it just for the experience but i wouldn't do it again.

nicke number 8 motor bike. see how they drive before you rent a motor bike to dangerous for me. i rented a jeep instead safer. find a nice bar girl and go out for the day with her visiting the island more enjoyable then on your own.
