Gentlemen

I require some assistance in helping me get my driving license out to thailand, i am stuck in Angola so dont want to get it posted to here, so if any BM could find it in their heart to allow me to have it posted to their home address in the UK and then i could have my girl pick it up from anywhere in patong.
It is just an old paper license, i would send it in an envelope which you could throw away and just keep the license safe(i would not carry dodgy envelopes through customs either)
so if anybody could help me i would be vely pleased.

You can post it to my Thai address but your UK driving licence is counted as a 'proof of address' for these new banking, money laundering, etc laws (I need to a certified copy of mine and send to to a gambling website as my winnings are getting near thier payout limits)...

You might want to bear that in mind.. Get it sent and registered to an address your parents are at or similar and then I have no problem you posting it here..

Yeah I live in the UK.

Will be in Bangkok on the 16th and Patong on the 28th.

Thank you all very much for your offers of help, so while i was deciding the best way to get it out there i asked my mother to find it and get it ready to post, now she can not find it so it looks like i will not be driving anything on my next trip to LOS, which is going to be a nightmare, driving cars and riding motorbikes is one of the things i live for and enjoy so much

Apply for a replacement to your UK address then forward it to my Thai address.. Should be here by Crimbo..

Also if your up the creek with no paddle I think I have an old paper one or two kicking around.. Non Photo ID and you might get collered but better than nothing, usually works..

Cheers sefton, i will look into the DVLA site later on to see what i need to do, but if i could borrow one of your licenses that would be great, do i get to pick the name i like best??
last time i was stopped when i had the CBR400 out i showed my UK paper license and he could not read it so he just waved me on my way

Sure you can choose amoung a couple though someone jumped in the pool with one of my paper ones..
