Yes...no problem

But why not just get a 60 day visa from home before departure and not waste the time and money?

JUst got to Had Yai, down to the border....walk out, walk in....and bingo!

Of course some of us don't have this problem...never have to leave.....

thanks,

i have my visa already for 60 days, but it ends 25 days before i go home, so i have to do one visa run...

but if i do ga on a visa run when the 60 days ends, will I get an extention of 30 days?

Just go to Hat Yai (or some other border) and only get your stamps? No further embassee stuff involved?

And how much will it costs, leave Thailand and go in again?

Thanks doctor Schmeen

Ps; i think i know where the prison girl is already (Songkla). Thanks for helping me

Yes I see that now...sorry...read it as July 2nd......you can get a visa extension at an immigration office for 500B....but I'm not sure how long it is...possibly only 10 days. Check out

http://www.thaivisa.com

As for the trip to Had Yai...you just get a 30 day entry stamp that will take you through to departure. No cost as i remember it....just the cost of getting there. You can fly down in the morning and fly straight back after....or you could fly to Penang and come back on the return flight.

Told you thry may have shipped her out of the Province...they like to seperate people from home.....depending on the offence and the level of risk. Juveniles go to Surat Thani.

How do you do that?

I need to stamp every 3 months, I were thinking about 1 year extension but I dont want to pay tea money to the immigration and pay additional taxes and other requirements they ask for.

I can also pay somebody for take my passport of the country for a stamp but they f****d one time already and I don't take any more risks. I better do this myself. I had to retrieve my passport back at Immigration office in Bangkok and I were happy they didnt jail me, as they did with the group before me.

hi
Tourist visas can be extended by one month (30 days) at Thai immigration offices. The immigration office in patong is on the bach road.

There you go...sting had the answer....I knew you could extend wasn't sure how long....

Nicke

I have a wife and a work permit....as a result I get one year visa's and they are extendable without leaving the country.

As for Phuket immigration....I'd never waste my time with those idiots. Most corrupt immigration officials in the Kingdom.

I only deal with Bangkok immigration, and the women from my company deals with them for me.....I only go when asked to make an appearance and rarely have to speak. Same with the work permit.

Paying a large amount of tax here helps....I'm even a member f the Thai 30B health scheme....carry my 30B health card wherever I go.
