Do u no what even an 100 baht means here in Isaan for someone who earns 0-150 baht per day max U have no real concept of the value of money in terms of the context here I say it again, if girls has no rich family, sister etc..........they wont be getting the plane no one will pay the extra money never mond having it in the 1st place which is extremely doubtful Ive seen it from both ends, i.e. having a bar knowing lots and lots of girls in patong and living here is Isaan where most people have sweet FA There r exceptions to the rule regarding this no one situation is the same............................... Most girls I know have turned up in patong with less than 100 baht in their pocket and very little clothes that could be used for a night out in patong to pull punters My wife/GF used give all her clothes she doesnt want to girls at the bar or new ones turning up G

I'm sure what you say is true. No surprise there. I was just joking, of course!!
 But it does raise the question of how the 3 little lambs managed to get plane fare to Phuket, and whether there is not more to the story than meets the eye!!

The point of my post was to illustrate sometimes there are other sides to consider in situations that we don't always know and perhaps we have all been guilty of assuming certain pieces of information add up to facts, but there is more to this story and we may learn from Mustang, although he may feel that to be private info. I will pm him to bring his attention to this thread and maybe a little more will be revealed.

I read this thread today for the first time(just returned to Canada)and yes,as Dodger has hinted,I am a part of this story.My story begins where Ancient Mariner's ends.On around Nov 20,I left the Salathai for my nightly walk down to Bangla.Just beside the hotel was a Swiss ownd beer bar,and as I passed I noticed a cute young lady sitting at one of the tables.I smiled at her and she shyly looked away(I thought this a little odd),but when I looked back a second time she gave me a smile.
I continued on,following the "never barfine from the bar beside your hotel"rule,but kept thinking about her.I ran into Torn and his girlfriend at the bottom of Bangla,his last night,and we chatted for a bit(sorry I missed your girlfriend's birthday party,it was great meeting the both of you.) and when they asked me where my lady was I casually mentioned I'd seen a nice girl I might return for. I walked up Bangla not stopping anywhere,turned left and walked back to Sawadiruk road,intent on meeting this girl.She was still there when I arrived so I offered to buy her a drink.Two other girls came over and explained that this was the girl's first night and she was only serving drinks and not going with anyone tonight.I said fine so we sat and chatted for about an hour.Her english was somewhat limited but we managed to communicate, all small talk.At some point I offered to buy her a seafood dinner and inquired again about possibly paying the bar to free her up for the evening reassuring her that she didn't have to sleep with me if she didn't want to.Just dinner,a walk around(she hadn't seen Bangla road yet??) and then up to her.(yea I'm one of THOSE guys)She seemed happy with this so I paid the owner's Thai wife,who nervously told me quickly leave now before the owner finds out.Strange but ok off we went to dinner.We had a great seafood dinner but she didn't like one of the things she ordered and was upset she had wasted my money.I kept telling her it was fine but even as we were leaving she was still apologising.It was becoming more and more obvious that this was no hardened bar girl,and that she was totally out of her element in this town. Our next stop was the Mai Thai Bar,where I thought I would put her at ease by introducing her to some of the nicest people in Patong.We sat down for a drink,and at this point Dodger came over to talk to me. to be continued.

Dodger and I chatted for a few minutes,the usual my god,another Thai silk shirt and why aren't you drinking that shot in front of you,then he leaned back(my girl was between us) and said in a lowered voice"Ancient Mariner has a thread on the forum called total confusion about two Thai girls and this girl is Girl #2."
I stared at him in disbelief,and he must have read my mind because the next thig he said was "Don't worry he didn't sleep with her,she's not his girlfriend" I asked again to be sure and he reconfirmed. Ancient Mariner is a friend of mine too(at least I hope he still is) and I would never stand in the way of his happiness.I was the board member who was with him at Safari the first night he was buying drinks for girl #1.We were both interested her but Dodger had fixed me up with someone else(thats another twisted story) so I was encouraging him to go ahead. I want to mention something here that I don't think has been emphasized yet.Girl #1 is extremely hot.She's not just a good looking tg with alcohol induced violent tendancies.She's a stunning sculpted beauty........with alcohol induced violent tendancies.I know looks are no excuse for attitude in LOS but it's easy to see how someone would try to hang on to this level of stunner even with all the crap going on.I'm not speaking for AM here,I'm speaking for me.Back to the story!

Dodger was trying to explain the thread to me without my girl hearing,and I really didn't understand much except that AM had met two girls it was alright for me to be with this one,but when he left she looked worried."Do you know girl#1?" she asked,and pointed across the bar.I looked up and there she was,hot as ever.
"Yes,a little.Is she a friend of yours?"I optimisticlly inquired. She put down her head and asked "What did he tell you?" To be honest I didn't know what the h@ll he had said exactly so I told her "he told me you and another girl both knew a friend of mine." Her eyes teared up and she said "can we go now?" She had talked earlier in the evening about how she loved Karoke so I thought maybe this would cheer her up. I asked Dodger where a good Karoke bar was.In retrospect she probably thought I was digging for more info but in fact I was still totally unaware of the the previous altercation. We said goodbye to Nicke and the gang but as we walked out of soi Eric onto Bangla she asked again what Dodger had told me,and finally I said "Look,something's troubling you and I can't help if I don't know what it is. She brushed away a tear,gave me a weak smile and this is what she told me. to be continued.

Mustang i am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at Power bar who is owend by a Swiss guy called Chris BTW he is a top guy and i dont know what had happend to you that night (as from what you told here)I dont see how Chris could have anything against you barfine her even it was her first night.You just seems like to be very unlucky that night.(i will ask him next time i see him)..And normaly their will be no trouble with the girls there....

you can quite helpful, and i appreciate it, but when it comes to threads like these, based more on the relationships and nightlife, you can be quite negative. like dodger said, why just dont read them. i am not coming at you, and i really do think you are a valuable member of this forum, but it doesnt seem like you enjoy these kinds of posts

I didnt say I didnt enjoy reading it, much the same as I do actually enjoy reading the problem pages in girls magazines.
Just seems like so much hard work when at the end of the day you are paying them for their time, why go through all the bullshit - its easy to get up and walk away and find girls that arent mental.

In all fairness Benji, guys are just as screwed up as girls. Girls are just unfortunate to be stuck with crazy heightend emotions, usually caused by the guy. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned Benji, very, very true and i am not denying that we can get very crazy about things sometimes, but we always have our reasons.
