When I left this afternoon, it was fair. It is the third day without any rain. It is also not so bad as the weather-channel predicted, there is not that much sun though. You will be fine.

Hi guys:

Just to remind you that the 5th December is the King of Thailand's birthday and so is a strictly enforced bar closing day.You may have to just settle in to your hotels for the night.Most hotel bars do still open for their guests.

Ah well, ill busy fighting my jetlag 5th december anyways

But sounds good with the weather, now i just gotta hope that ill get some sun before i go back home to cold Sweden again.

Will the restaurants still be open tho? I mean i have to eat

Normally on bar closing days a load of us gather at the coffee shop in the Ex Pat hotel which is open for drinks and food.The front bar will be closed but the restaurant is in the back.

i stayed at the expat in February, and at bar closing days , the restaurant was a great place to hang out in the evening , watching some bad movie, and a little swim in the dark
