Correct me if I'm wrong, but we are talking about the English language here, aren't we? Here is the definition of Baht from the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary, followed by the complete definition of "bath" from the same dictionary.
Definition
baht
noun [C]
the standard unit of money used in Thailand
(from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)
Definition
bath
noun
1 [C] UK (US bathtub) a long plastic, metal or ceramic container which is filled with water so that a person can sit or lie in it to wash their whole body
2 [C usually singular] the activity of washing yourself or someone else in a bath:
MAINLY UK Susannah has a long hot bath every evening.
MAINLY US I took a bath this morning.
bath oil
3 [C] US used to refer to a bathroom when describing a home:
a four-bedroom two-bath house
4 [C] UK a health treatment:
mud/thermal baths
5 [C] UK any container holding liquid:
a bird bath
bath UK
verb [I or T] (MAINLY US bathe)
to wash in a bath or to wash someone in a bath:
OLD-FASHIONED She baths every morning.
I usually bath the kids in the evening.
(from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)
Can you show me a dictionary, any dictionary of the English language that defines bath as a unit of money used in Thailand? You can't, because that use of bath is simply a computer-generated misspelling.
I rest my case!!!!!!

In the end, if you can get a girl to spend the night with you for a 1000 of them, then I guess it doesn't really matter much what you call it!!
Having said that, I would still like to see Tintin spell it Baht, all the same!!

Sure when you are in the UK (specifically Cambridge) feel free to spell it baht, however in Thailand where I live the Anglicised version of their currency is baht or bath, either way is correct (Its up to them, its their country). As proved by the myriad of online and offline official documents. Nothing worse than someone who cant admit that they are wrong, its a very bad character trait.

Now, now, Benjy, no need to get personal. It is a bad trait to attack the other person, when you can't win a debate on the merits of your argument.
And if you take that as a personal attack, then I apologize, because it is not nor was it ever my intention to attack you personally. I don't even know you.
There is no point in conceding in a lively debate when you know you are right, and have proved it. It would be like conceding defeat when you are two goals ahead going into the last period.
If you want to believe you are right, that is perfectly OK with me. But you needn't expect me to agree, when I don't! Nothing wrong with that!
I am quite secure in my belief, be it right or wrong, spot on or delusional, that I am right. If you think that you are right, then, IMHO, you ought to be content in that knowledge!
Although I could easily refute your last assertion in regard to the subject of our disagreement, I will not do so, since it was never my intent to upset you so much. It's really just a discussion for the fun of it. You may draw your own conclusions, I will draw mine, and anyone else may draw their's.
End of debate!

Irony in life is quite inevitable. Attempts to exclude it will be ultimately futile.
Having said that, you've got a mind like an elephant!!!
