tg's changing their nickname
i think its one of the funniest things ive seen in LOS. a tg wakes, either someone told them something bad about their nickname, they had a dream, but all of a sudden, after 25-30 years, they change their name. hilarious!

Current tirak told me she changed her name when she was 10 because the old name had brought her bad luck, it came up because when we were in her village they all called her by her old name whilst the family all called her by her new one.
I think its great and somewhat similar to having a board name, being called that all the time in LOS and your real name at home and look at the bm's who have also changed their board name.

i guess we all have nicknames too, now that you mention it. only difference is we all can pronounce and spell other bm's real names. cant say the same for bg's real names

A girl who I spent some time with last tour to LOS used the same name as on her ID. Does that mean it was a nickname or not? All bg's that I met before used a different one to the ID.
Hey Dodger speaking of BM's changing their name is it possible to edit it because the 1977 after my name is totally unnecessary. When I signed up I put it on because most times the name is already taken but I never checked at the time however it is available without it. It's just another demonstration of how stupid I can be!! 555555

I believe a ''ring the bell'' usually helps the change in board name.

And you shall henceforth forever be know as Honeyseeker1977. Can we call you "seven" for short, or do you prefer "Honey"??
