Rizza needs help buying digital camera !!
Hey guys,
As you know i leave on the 8th of Jan, and i want to buy a Canon Powershot A620, I just need to decide where i get it from for the cheapest.. Can you tell me how duty free in Phuket and Bangkok work with prices, any websites i can check ??.. Duty free here in Australia is quoting AU $599.. Any ideas of the best way for me to get it ?? What about buying it in Phuket itself ?? or at the airport ?? warrantys would be a problem wouldn't they ?? If anyone has dealt with this issue please help me out a bit. Thanks

Yer i just found out i can get it imported from hong kong on ebay for 20$ cheaper, and i get a 1gig memory stick
 Expect some flicks

Its a 12 month warranty, and the 60$ shipping + 20$ insurance still makes it cheaper than to buy it here
And i get the extras like the 1 gig memory

and it is nice to get the camera before your trip so that you can go over the manual and understand the features that the camera offers.

Import duties are usually a pain in the **** when internationally ebaying (they are here and Europe)..
