Any bar in Patong showing NFL playoff games this weekend? I'm most interested in the Washington-Tampa Bay game. Thanks.

what hotel are you staying at?
if it has UBC you will be able to watch the games live which will be at like 1-2am and then at 7-8am. they also play repeats later in the day.
look in the bangkok post on saturday and it will give you what time the games are on and what channel. theres also a very good nfl article by some guy who picks the games, pretty good read.
so if your hotel doesnt have UBC, then youll have to wait and watch the repeats. what i would do if you have to do that is try finding a small bar with not alot of people that ahs UBC, ask them to turn on the game, they will be happy to.
i cant tell you how many times ive stayed upt il 7-8am watchign games live. last year in pattaya watching pats-colts in a bar on soi diana

Anyone know a good place to watch the Super Bowl? Any parties going on? Anywhere on the island is good.

there were non advertised last year at all on the island. only here of them in bangkok. i was there for the playoffs but flew home mainly to be in boston to watch the pats in the superbowl and then came back to phuket
