This is a picture that has obviously been taken from a website (clever ain't I ?) so the chances are that you will get most of the information you are looking for, from that site. There are literally thousands of BGs and a large number are not in it long term, so it could be that the picture is 3/4 years old and the girl has long gone. Also, I would suggest that it won't be much use trying to organise anything up front, i.e. before you go, because that will all go out of the window when you finally get there and see LOS for yourself. You'll have the best of intentions to try "this bar", "that bar", "do this, "go there", "look at that" etc etc and when you get back home, you'll look at your pre-arranged checklist and find that most things remain unchecked. Try not be build yourself up into a frenzy about the place, it won't do you any good. Book your tickets and wait your turn, go and sample the lifestyle, get hooked, return home, book more tickets and repeat process for the rest of your life

Im kinda of curious about that too. Many of the woman that are posted are ok at best, not many reall lookers.
Is it just the guys being cheap and not wanting to spend more money or if you pay 2-2500 or more baht can you get a real "stunner", super hot lady?

Everyone's different, for example I actually pefer the one on the right from those 2. As for how much, well there's different methods that guys choose, each supposedly more effective than the others and each thought to be the best. I am now at the point where money is not discussed and I pass over an amount in the morning, but other guys will say that this doesn't work for them. Some will say it's better to agree a price, otherwise the BG will say in the morning that she wants more and they will relate stories of when that has happened. It's probably best if this will be your first trip, if you adopt the approach of agreeing a price first, in the bar, along with what you are expecting the girl to do.
The general rule of thumb for beer bars, is that Short Term (ST) is between 500 and 1,000 whereas Long Term (LT) is 1,000 - 1,500. Girls from go-go bars apparently are a little more expensive and thought to be better lookers on the whole, but I've never been in a situation where I have not seen a girl I like the look of from a bar and therefore never take a go-go girl. Be wary if girls start quoting anything over 2,000 as sometimes a girl will up the price because she doesn't want to go with you, but will do so if the guy is stupid enough to pay silly money. Again, it's not the sort of thing you can decide before you go, it will become a lot more obvious once you're over there and having a ball !!

With you there Diz, the one on the right for me too.
I find it hard to be quite so objective when I'm on the ground and full of beer, but last time I was in the Angels disco in Bangkok it was full of girls who looked this good (could have been the beer goggles, but they need to wear theirs too) and the going rate down there is 1000baht.

The girl in the pic is very cute. Pretty eyes, unusually round. But wouldn't conclude she is a stunner from one pic, would have to see more. Also, she doesn't especially appeal to me. There is no "Wow!" factor. Just another nice looking girl. Would not give her a 9. Maybe an 8.
Through each man's eyes, the girls look different and have a different appeal. Since we are farangs, we tend to agree more on what farang girls are stunners, having all bee raised exposed to the same TV shows, actresses, models, girly magazines, and other media stereotypes, although, even then there is some difference of opinion. But because we weren't raised bding spoon-fed the idea of what is supposed to be attractive about East/Southeast Asain women, the differences of opionion tend to be huge. For example, to some guys, the smaller the nose, the cuter it is, and they "deduct" no points for a flat or nearly flat bridge on it. To Thais, that is not a good feature, and they don't see it as we do. I tend to go with the Thais taste in women. Thais also like taller women with a little meat on them, same as me. The tiny ones I can admire as I might a fine porcelain figure sitting on your mama's knickknack shelf. But it has no sex appeal to me at all. Too much like a little girl, not my idea of how a woman should be. Not sexy! The girl in the pic has nice eyes, nice skin, nice shape of face. But I probably wouldn't like her nose much(hard to say from one shot). And she may be too small for me, but can'[t tell that from a pic. Still, having said all of that she is still prettier than most TGs, IMHO. To my eyes, the average TG is not very pretty. Only a little bit cute, maybe. However, the sheer volume of girls there is so great, that there are loads of pretty girls, and a fair number of stunners. If you are a young, nice-looking guy with money in your pocket, hooking up with a stunner should be no problem. In BKK, they will ask 3K or more for LT, but if they like you, they will take 2K, or maybe less if you rate highly with them(fun, charm, looks, age). But in BKK, I find it extremely hard to find very good-looking girls, except in the gogos, and then it is an extra 600 Baht per night to the bar! ? The pickings in the beer bars is vey slim there, unlike Phuket.

Well the point is the guys asking who are they and these 2 girls are both Hooty's show girls which are supposedly a step above the normal gogo girls the cream of the crop so to speak.
So whatever the going rate is for gogo girls in Pats ( around 2k baht) I'd say double it or at least x 1.5 that's my point I'm not saying you can't find better for cheaper but you won't get a showgirl for 1000bht.

After talking to an awful lot of girls in LOS, I have come to the conclusion that the girls in the go-go bars are not really that much better looking but are prepared to do more for the money. Some of the services offered to me by go-go girls, (for the right money) I did not realise were physically possible, and sure as hell not by me! They seem to be quite proud of the fact that they will do anything for money! The bar girls seem to be a little shyer, on the whole. (until you get them back to your room!)

As to the comment 'gogo girls do more for thier money' I dont know.. Sure in the bedroom they 'might' (and thats a definite might) do more for thier money but often less easy to spend longer time with or have the GFE from them.. Depends what you want. Jay's comment that looks are interpreted differently is really true.. Asian standards of beauty are different to our and Thai's in particular love that taller, white, chinese look.. They also love the Eurasian thing (paler skin more prominant nose, diluted asian features).. I dissagree (unless I miss understood) that Thais tend to like them with more flesh on thier bones.. Looking through Thai fashion mags or star mags and they seem to like the pale tall willowy look as far as I can tell... I think my tastes go for the 'exotic' and I sometimes find myself doing a double take when you see a girl with really asian eyes like the Khymer or Cambodian girls sometimes have (big full lips also on Cambo chicks).. The skin color thing does nothing for me but I do want to get up to Vietnam this year as some of the Viet girls I have met have been stunning in comparison to the Thais, might just be random chance but I owe it to myself to find out.

I remember lusting over that picture and others of that girl before my first tour in November 2004,so she's been around a while.I'm not really attracted to the one on the right but the left girl gets a 9 out of 10 from me.Hey Diz maybe they'll double date!!
I could be mistaken,but I think rockstar! dated either that girl or someone very similar.
