Your TGF and other Farangs.
Hello to all B/Ms;
I have been reading many letters in this Forum and to a large extent found most interesting and informative.So as a newbie let me explain a little bit about myself first. I'm going to Patong for my fourth trip in twelve months in april {work permitting} last april it was Pattaya, the rest split BKK and Phuket.Now i like Patong as both me and mate have TGFs from there but, we both agree that most bars you go to with TGF if there's a few farangs one will almost always try to hit on or touch up one of the ladies even though they can see that they're with farangs. My question is whether it's just me and the mate were sober a couple of nights and saw this or is it a regular event. Keeping in mind there were many beautiful ladies there solo, and that if you were not in holiday mode it could end up getting aggro.

It happens sometimes but I have not seen it that much in 7 trips to be honest.
Although many guys are decent and don't act in this way, there will always be a few a$$holes without good manners or decorum. Fact of life I'm afraid.

personal question
sorry for this question, is your tgf a bg ?
if she is a bg she will know how to handle the situation i think. if i am with a bg, i know i am only hiring her whilst am with her in los so i dont get jealous or possesive, because next week some one else is jumping her bones. if it was my gf, who is not a bg i would not have her in any place that a farang maybe would try and hit on her eg farang bars in tourist thailand.

I have made 20 visits to los and have never ever had any problem with farangs hitting on my thai girlfriends with one exception AMERICAN GIS these guys were a nightmare you could not go for a piss without coming back to find them bothering your girl but as for normal farangs in mongering tours have never had any problem even in Pattaya, there are enough pretty girls going around available there is no need to try to move in on someone elses girl.

Depends on the girl.. If the girl is being forward / flirty / physical / lauging at jokes etc.. Then farang in the background or not moves will probably be made..
Personally I am pretty relaxed about guys joking around with my girl(s) but then 1) I am pretty relaxed all round re the girls here 2) I tend to have got over that initial trust hump bit 3) its 'usually' tho not always in jest and with mates etc.. With wifey it used to be a bit different as she was a real head truner and people would constantly be propositioning her, sometimes really not taking no for an answer.. One guy invited her (after she intro'ed me as boyfriend and I am stood there) onto his yacht and ongoing to the medi.. Another kept on asking her to go with him for ever increasing sums of money until I drwew him to one side and explained that enough was enough, shed said no and we had been polite.. To me actions like that seemed ruder than some wandering hands which is her job to defend against IMHO..

i had 1 occaision when a bloke tried to hit on the bg i was with once at taipan.
i had known her for various times over 3 trips to patong and we were comfortable in each others company. i said to the bg what did he say to you "he offer me 2000 baht for short time". he was a european of some type, so i walked up to him and said, "you can have girl 1500 baht short time" and "be careful she bite very hard" he did not show any more interest i played him at his game i think. saw him later with his 3 mates walking alone down bangla at finishing time, so obviously some real charmers those boys. never had trouble in thai places with thais trying hit on the girl i was with.

Happened a few times on last trip, but always when the guys thought my GF was alone, the always walked on when they realised she was attached. Maybe she would be standing waiting for me at the exchange booth and she would be standing out of the line and people would stop and look her up and down, then see me looking at them and just walk on. Ah well.

I forsee this happening to me when I get to Phuket. My girlfriend is Asian and tends to dress very attractively. It happens in NY now except they don't offer her money, lol. No worries here because because she knows the game and knows how to turn them down.
Honestly unless they get too forward and start groping, it's not going to be much of a problem. I actually find it flattering when I find guys trying to flirt with my girlfriend. It just validates my taste.

This happens to me all the time with my GF. I usually just watch and laugh it off. She lets it known shes with me which just validates my trust with her. Well while Im in LOS any way. The only time Ill jump in is they start getting a bit touchy feely. At that point Ill pull them aside and explain the situation. Actually happened with one older BM kept grabbing my GF Boobs in front of me. He ended up kicked out of the Soi.

My wife is a Farang!!! she is small & slim and looks like BG from the back, last year in Samui she had a South African guy who would not leave her alone massaging her back etc, she asked him to stop but he kept pushing it, in the end she told me and I told him to p*ss off, he said coz we were in a bar he reckoned we would be up for swapping
 , What made it funnier was he did'nt even have a partner. This has happened in Patong and Bangkok, but she never complains when its BG,s hitting on her.  Dave

Comes with the territory
Well...these things will happen when a boy is filled with booze...
During my last trip to Patong my TGF flew down from the north to spend time with me...From the start she pointed out that she would prefer sitting at a table listening to live music ie outside Bananna...rather than going to the Bars ir discos... Anyways we comprimised so we did a little of everything...but after frequenting the soi bars and discos..it was almost guareenteed that she would be approached, even when I was with her.... This pis^ed me off actually because we were with friends and she didn't enjoy all that extra attention... Must say though, it was always the same types that would approach her...and not to be offensive I wont name which countries they were from but will name where they weren't from: OZ, Northern Europe or America.. One night we befriended another couple and decided to pub crawl that evening...spent alot of time playing stick at Dragon...with some other friends that were there...my GF was with the other girl playing stik and having a drink...after about an hour I notice that this other girl is a little off her rocker and starts hitting on my GF..Arm over her shoulder and touching his stomach...I thought this was just play acting and let it slide... Then 5 min later my Girl pulls me aside and wants to go home...I ask why?? She says this other girl is drunk and start talking to her sexy but when my girl resisted then she was "more and more angry".. I approached the other girl between games and had a quick chat about how the night was going and It was quite obvious she wasn't holding her grog... I pointed this out to her partner and told him that we were taking off and we could catch up the next day... The morale of the story is that anything can happen with anyone in that sort of atmosphere...so if you feel uncomfortable just move on and make some other friends... Many bars and people around...

I agree that you just accept it and have a quite word if it gets out of hand or is uncomfortable for your tg, can see the point Gersup raised and am also surprised that with so much alcohol that there isn't more agressive reaction from people but maybe it is just holiday mode. Was more upset by Dojo's tale of another BM because I feel that with all the info on this site there is no excuse for ignorance and we do all show comaradery to each other as we have this at the very least in common.
I've had it happen many times but have always found it was done more out of ignorance to the fact she was with me or just beer goggles than any malice and a quite word has always sorted it,so in my experience not really a problem.

The BG is usually not with any BM just hanging out with our group. The BM in question kept saying sorry to me when in fact he should say sorry to my GF for being an arsse. Just treat the women like women I say.

Just a quick one from the other side. Having been here a long time, I know many of the BGs and will often stop to say hello. Always polite and say hello to the boyfriend if he is sat with her, and if she is obviously with someone its usually no more than "Hi. How are you?", but there have been a few occasions where he has turned up while we're chatting. I always immediately back off and explain that we're old friends etc etc and break off the conversation. Usually this is fine, but a couple of times the boyfriend has gotten over the top nasty. I'm always very conscious of not doing anything to jeopardise the lady's revenue stream, but in hindsight it often amuses me how territorial some of these guys get.
