Is it just for me, or is everyone having trouble? It takes ages for each page to load up...

Today it is fine. I got quiet a fast connection, but in Los, it is slow all the time...

Last night got quite bad and I had a lot of trouble posting replies and quoting, had to give up in the end.

In the states yesterday was sooo slow. I kept re booting my PC thinking it was that, but every other page ran fine. Today is no worries so far.

Yesterday there were slows during 05:30 to 08:00 (Phuket local time). I didnt notice anything really out of the ordinary last night though.

I am monitoring the server more now to find out what causes the slowness, when I first read this thread yesterday the server load was pretty high and I found some strange processes which I killed. I am not sure what starts these processes, it's some kind of installation/upgrade jobs that ate a lot of cpu and never finish. (In this case; "realperlinstall")

Has anybody still the same problem that the forum is slow. I have a new faster PC and all other sites i visit are much quicker. Only this forum is much, very much slower then before. Since Tarzan's thread it didn't improve. Anybody the same problem?

Yes,
something seems to be really wrong here now.

I tested traffic speed on several occasions using my laptop DU-meter (Downlink speed/Uplink speed) and traffic speed can hit to normal 500 kb/s or more in few occasions but was mainly very slow (5 kb/s to 59kb/s) , what is really slow...

Being myself telecom guy, I do not believe that bottleneck is somewhere in international connection.
Most probably either Phuket local connection has some temporary fault - or even more bad - something wrong with Nicke's server connection.
