newbies-your 1st posts
after reading alfie's great post about going back and looking at his trip report i went back and looked at my 1st posts.
i did exactly what we tell you guys to do. i introduced myself and asked direct questions and i got sincere, very helpful replys by IJ, Mikegb and Nicke. it just goes to show that all of us senior members on the board are very illing to help you guys that are new on the board its just, i guess, we feel a little more comfortable knowing a little bit about who we are advising. also, although we talkk about it plenty, we seem to get turned off by a new poster just jumping in and asking sex questions. just doesnt seem to go over well

Got to agree with marc26, a quick introduction helps people know if you really want to be part of the forum, or are just winding people up.
If you take a couple of minutes to read the "Must read for all Newbies" thread , you will get a better idea of how the forum works and will find BMs more than happy to help you out.  Quote:

yes IJ, the newbies have been doing a real good job of it lately, and when i see that, i will usually pop in the post and see if i can help them out.
and wouldnt you know, you were the 1st person ever to reply to me. i guess our friendship was meant to be!

Great advice
Yeah..looks like most newbies are giving it a fair go recently...
I had a look the other day, and to my surprise some well constructed intro's.. Must admit I felt that they were the real deal and wanted to join the LOS FAMILY...  Keep them comin...
