Strained my back,stuck in hotelroom,

Don`t know if I gonna be well anuff in time so I wonder if
all I gonna get is 200bth/day fine or if they can keep me
from coming back to the country if I go over time
(as in the USA)?

Thanks

Do you stay in Phuket now?

You can always get an extension at the immigration, 500 baht for 10 days if you are here on a normal visa on arrival, 30 days.

I usually do one of the following visa runs:

1. Take airplane to Hat Yai, take taxi to Malaysian border and walk in/out of Malaysia for a new stamp and then back to Hat Yai city and stay one night, then airplane back to Phuket.

2. Take bus/rent car to Ranong, go to Andaman Club pier and take their boat to the island. I recommend you to stay one night and have some fun in the casino. Otherwise you can play just one hour and then head back to Phuket. The stamp at Burma is free. (If you go to the main pier in Ranong and take a long tail boat to Burma you need $5 USD cash to pay for the stamp.)

Overstay is 200 baht/day, it is usually no problem but you should avoid it because it's a illegal and you can in worst case end up in jail.
