Seems quite difficult to actually pull it off, the thai customs are gonna know straight away like you said.

But ive heard there are plenty of "real" clothes at the MBK center, but im not sure what the costs will be like. For example a football shirt. Most likely to be fake at the markets but if it has Nike a tag and looks real im sure they wont seize a few of them.

A few of them won't be a problem, I guess we've all brought loads home, but when you get into commercial amounts thhings change.
