BG Rates and Inflation
I know, use the search engine!!!
 But I thought I would mention that I haven't noticed any inflation in BG prices over the last 3 years. The go-go prices in BKK seem to have gone up but I still seem to be paying the same in Karon Beach. That's around 1,000 LT plus the bar fine for beer bar girls. I don't bar fine many girls because I have a tendancy to find nice girl and have her stay with me for the duration of my stay in Phuket. This is normally about 10 or 12 days. Oh, and I usually visit LOS during low season, April or October. Anyone else got any comments on BG rates of inflation?

Hi Social Norm, I was in Patong last November and I would give a guide price of around 1500LT 1000ST. However it is very hard to give general prices because it depends on so many factors. In fact I never discussed money with the girls, I simply slipped them a few Baht the next day and nothing else was mentioned.
So maybe thats too much or too little but the girls were happy and so was I

Noticed From Last April Prices Seemed To Have Risen,agree 1000 St 1500 Lt Is About Right
Found Samui A Little Cheaper 600-800 St 800-1000 Lt Imho Think Dearer Prices In Busy Times, Cheaper When Quieter Times. Even At 1500lt Patong Is So Much Cheaper Than Most Other Countries And The "thai Girl Experience" Is So Much More Civilised.

It all depends on the person I think, I was paying 1000bt LT and the girls were happy with that, I too never talk about money, Although on this trip a couple have asked me about money, And how much I give...
Like one night about 4am walking down Sansabai, I seen this little stunner looking my direction so I stopped and said hello, Anyway we talked for all of 30seconds and she said to me "You pay me".... I laughed and said yeah, And she said 2000bt and I laughed again, Told her I would give her 1000bt and she just turned away in a strop, So I turned to walk off and her friend turned around and said ok, You give her 1500bt... And I would have because she was hot, Only that she threw a little hissy fit when I said 1000bt and the fact that she was on Sansabai at 4am looking for 2k, I just got the impression she would have been hard work, So I told her no I go home sleep alone... She just gave me a dirty look... And I laughed again And that was that.....And another one that I liked and knew her for a while, And was gonna BF her one night until she said to me "You know I am expensive" I just laughed said so am I sweethart But seriously after she said that to me it just put me right off her, And she couldnt understand why I never took her out after that, Anytime I seen without a BF she would ask me to bring her with me, But after that she didnt appeal to me anymore... Kinda spoiled it for me.....And the last one was a girl from the Pool hall, Now this one never talked about money with me and was happy just to come with me, And I was gonna just give her the normal 1000bt because I already was paying her BF at 500bt, But a few of the boys (BMs) kept putting into my head that the girls were a little more expensive when you take them out of this place, So I ended up giving her 1500bt, Which she was really happy with when she seen it, I knew then she would have been happy with a 1000bt... PS: There really is no set rate, I know lots of people who pay very different prices, Some 1000bt, Some 2000bt, Some 3000bt... Its really up 2 you what you want to give... Or if you dont want any problems in the morning about how much you have to give her, Sort it out at the bar, Its really simple...

Season and Location
I guess this has quite a bearing on prices. As I said, I usually go in the low season when there are several BG's to each customer at the bar.
Also, I think prices around Karon Beach may be slightly lower than Patong?

Perhaps this makes a difference too. 10 days at 1,000 with all living expenses as well as daily barfine and lady drinks at the "home" bar out of season in Karon Beach is not a bad deal.
I haven't had any indication that I am not being generous enough. I guess I'm trying to make myself feel ok here because I would really hate to be thought of as a cheap charlie and most of the girls are worth every penny and more.

Never pay more than 1000 baht LT..............if the bar girl likes you, thinks your handsome, then 1000 baht is normal for long time.
If the bg views u as another punter, much older than her etc then expect to be asked to pay more than 1000 baht

I am actually good friends with 1 bg. I dont mean friends in a crap way, but proper friends (if one can be one). Anyway she told me, the prices she charge depends on how drunk the person is, if he is young or old, if hes fat and things like that. On the contary though, its the old guys she prefer, as she says, they dont last long. She cant stand people who are drunk, so slightly pissed is good, as again, she said they even have trouble getting it up, so after 5 minutes of wanking, she is paid and she is happy.
So i would say, the price depends on you, and how you are/look etc to these women. Put yourself in their shoes, how much would you want to shag someone for, if they were totally repulsive to you? The answer is, you probably wouldnt.... E

funny story....
i was talkign to my old gf recently. i asked her why she didnt ask me how much i give her. she said that i bought her the most lady drinks in one night she ever got, that she figured if i didnt give her anything shed still win out!
