Average "Tour" Duration in LOS?
Hello, I was just wondering what the board members average Tour duration to Los is? Myself I guess I dont like doing things by halves and spent just shy of 4 months in 04' in Thailand with a small offshoot to Vietnam for 3 weeks. Planing my next trip this year around April for 6 months. I guess alot of you do 2-4 weeks over there, but just wondering.

Hey Allybabba,
how was the rest after we met on New Year's eve?
I guess you were quite busy!
Now you are back in Dub?
Me too - working in Dub!
But looking forward to Easter - 2 weeks back in you know where!!!
Can't make it longer for the moment - my Irish GF would get suspicious!!!
Will try and train her in for next year although!!!
Cheers,
Wolf

Twice a year for me. 4 weeks in July/august and 3 weeks in december/januari. But when my money and time would allow it, it would be much more. Well maybe not only Thailand.
Cheers,
Raval

Well I am really only allowed 4weeks off, But because I work with my Dad, I just get someone reliable to go out and work for me while I am away, And my boss never even has to know
Most Europeans cant take the amount of time off work that some Euro BMs do on here....
In most jobs you only have 4weeks, And you cannot take them all together, Same same as the US....

I think mostly the "We europeans" is people with their own business, normally you have 5 weeks a year for most type of jobs atleast here in Sweden, with that said its only in a few cases you are able to take it all at once. If you are a normal labor worker(working hours) chances are that you can save days from overtime (After you already worked your 40h week that is), and go on a paid vacation, many does this. But that also means very long days at work.
Normally its 4 weeks for summer vacation, and 1 week for winter vacation.

When I first discovered Thailand I went for 7 nights 4 times in one year, they were the tough-but-worth-it trips.

Here in Australia 4 weeks seems to be the norm, with some professions getting 5 weeks per year. The airfare for 3x trips per year would be the only downside to splitting your time In Los up.
