In the pursuit of an Xmas tour of duty ,i wondered into the Holiday hyper market(part of the co op chain),to see about making a reservation.Normally they are very good and i have had some excellent deals from them.So there i sat and explained what i wanted and when ........ well you could of knocked me down with a feather when the best deal they could offer me for Patong beach was £1500.00 ,Ive never paid that much before .The most ive paid was £1300.00 and that included ,Hong kong , Vietenam
AND Singapore.
when asking about flights only, the cheecky young thing started claiming she could get the flight out but not back.hmmmm bit of a stich up but you could get me them if i paid £1500.00 eh eh eh
so whats the moral to this tale i hear you cry .
simple f*#k the holiday hypermarket from now on and i will shop around. which leads me to you young mike .have you sorted your travel arrangments out and what kind of deals have you been able to obtain ?

I havent booked my flights yet, but I will soon. My life has turned topsy turvy over the last 2 months and many things were uncertain.

I have had to close my business because of lack of work.
At the same time I was buying my 3rd apartment to rent out. That in itself cost a lot of money, and then I have had to spend time/money doing it up. No problem, rental money to come in you may say, BUT, where I stay at the moment is being sold and I have no other place to go, so I have to move into the new apartment I bought.
Money has been tight, and work slack, BUT!! Today I started a new job which hopefully can make me good money, so I will work hard over the next few months and I guarantee I will be in Patong for xmas and new year, even if I have to sell my big fat ass to get the airfare (that one leaves me wide open for jokes! )

I also have a local travel agent who gives fixed prices to Thailand. It can be expensive if I leave it very close to xmas (around £700), but the KLM site should be able to do it for you for about £380 if you book now (sorry, this offer is only up to middle of September!)

Sorry to hear about the downturn...If this is any hope, hang with what you because tough times weed out the weak and leave the strong better off. Stay Strong (easy for me to say since I done but I have my days) Why did I think your apartments were in Thailand, as mentioned before?

As to the the sale of your **** I wish you luck and hope you get in the line that goes by the stone and not the sweetness!
