I hate to kick you while you are down, but I just stumbled upon this. It maybe the reason she is in Malaysia. Since you already know she's with another guy it would be best to forget her and concentrate or your next tour. It may not be the easiest thing to do, but take it from an old fart, at 23 you have a BUNCH of living yet to do. But Saengthong Preechawutthidej, owner of Marina Sungai Kolok Hotel and former president of Narathiwat’s Tourism Business Association, said such “labour migration” was not new as Thai sex workers regularly go to Malaysia in search of business. But the number of Malaysian tourists has dropped dramatically since the violence flared in the three southernmost provinces. Songchai Mungprasithichai, a key member of an association of tour guides in Songkhla, said prostitutes have been crossing the border into Malaysia for more than a decade and that they have operated in a very systematic fashion with “traffickers” facilitating their movement, including temporary resettlement. The New Straits Times newspaper reported Tuesday that the migration of Thai prostitutes began last year after an escalation of bombings and other violence by Islamic insurgents in the South provinces significantly reduced the number of Malaysians and other tourists. The newspaper quoted an unidentified police source as saying cyber cafes and beauty salons in Kelantan provided partitioned back rooms for the sex workers, who charge customers between 100 and 300 ringgit (US$26-80) a time.

Lots of advise..
As I said when you first came back.. The difficulty in staying touch and cultivating a long distance relationship may not be worth the fruit of seeing her once or twice a year. I remember living for 3 month or so with a girl when I was about 19 and she was already booked to go be an au pair for a yera prior to us meeting.. She went to the states for a year and it was hell for both of us.. Swore never again would I do any form of long distance relationship. Hence when I met wifey1 she came back to live with me in Holland less than 48 hours after I left Thailand. Also have to say Quote:

Anyway never again....that is why l don't consider myself in a relationship with my thai friend......if she goes with someone else good luck to her.

im so glad im the type of person who can go to thailand, have a whole load of fun and not fall for any of these girls. as for sending money over to bar girls etc...beyond belief really.

I knew a guy like that. He had an absoulte rule: 3 days and she's gone. So after we saw him with the same lady for more than a week we asked what happened to the rule. "This one's different." Well, good luck to him - they've been married for 4 years now.

If I had money. If I had work. If I win the jackpot. A lot of tourist fall in love the first time they visit Thailand. They fall in love with girls who living with 10 other girls in small rooms sleeping on the floor and are very poor. At night they sell their body for a good price. The money they get from the tourist they share with their friends for some food and clothes. Only the most pretty and lucky girls will stay there and hope one day a rich farang will take them to their country. Most cases the girls just go home after a couple of months. Every time you go to Thailand the bar has new girls and both the bargirls and the tourists hunting dreams. If you meet a normal Thai girl she would never sleep with you before marriage and goes around with you but will never stay alone with you. You can dream there for the duration of your holiday. Once home again, forget everything and save money for your next trip instead of sending your money to her and keep on dreaming. So face the facts and stop dreaming.
