motorbike purchase
Thinking of buying a bike next month when i return to Phuket as i'm gonna be spending a lot of time there in the future. What exactly is the score about buying one...have heard various things about having to own a property or having to have a 60 day visa....any reliable info would be appreciated.

Motorcycle
I bought a new Honda Phantom(200 cc/chopper style/made in Thailand) at the Honda dealer on the road between Patong and Simon Cabaret Nov 2005..Here on a 60 day tourist visa. 89,000 baht excepted credit card plus 3%. Needed an address form from immigration on beach road took one day. Easy squeezy.Red plate for 3 months then they get white plate for you. Cost includes plate and manditory insurance.
