Without being a professional like Erik I'm pretty sure that models in Denmark sign a "releaseform" for the pictures that the photographer takes. Then they get their fee and basically the photographer owns the rights then.

We recently had a case where amateur photographer took some erotic pictures of some girls and posted them on his website. The girls had not signed a releaseform for the pictures so he got fined for putting the pictures up.

That's kinda what I thought, so putting other people's pictures of other people on the internet put's you at risk from both parties.

If you do not have them sign a releaseform the photographer has copyright and the model has portraitright. Portraitright will be looked upon that publication is prohibited if it damages the models integrity or affects her in any negative way.
Basically you can use them on personal presentations but as soon as the model requests to be removed you will have to. Publications (commercial or third party) are not possible without a release.

Logically, going on from there, if you photograph a group of strangers have you the right to publish that picture?

If they are posing for it only with consent. If they are just accidentally in the picture and not asked to pose or main subject then portraitright does not apply
