So how many times a day do those of you with Thai girlfriends wonder if your being taken for a ride?
She loves you but you don't trust her.
You accept she might have other boyfriends but you know she loves only you.
She might be different, she might not.
Why does she expect commitment when she hardly knows you.
Is this your second bite at the cherry, the one you deserved years ago.
Can you give her a good life.
Will she rip you off and leave; leaving you with nothing in your old(er) age.
Are you afraid.

I think I'm going to fall in love with a Thai girl and probably get taken for a ride. I feel like a moth to the flame. I'm both scared and excited. I want to feel like I did when I was 21 again. I can do this in Thailand. It's going to happen. Help.

Keep her only as a girl friend from a legal point of view. If she does leave, you'll only loose her, not half your assets-simple.

i said before that this forum was a wonderfull thing for a sociologist/psychologist to read.
this forum, trolls apart, is maverllous source of information for a student/researcher to gain the views of a vast cross section of western/expat mens computer generated musings.
