Last night's TG was saying how Thai people will eat ANYTHING. I remembered (but didn't tell her about) the night before I was watching how a Farang had managed to catch a cockroach under an ashtray on the bar top of a go-go in Nana and was playing with it to the amusement of his posse of girls. Couldn't help thinking (probably unfairly) that if the Farang hadn't been there it would have been lunchtime...
The worst thing I've ever come across in a market was in Chinatown BKK, those barrels of 'maturing' fish guts stewing away in the afternoon sun - closest I've ever come to losing my lunch in public (probably would just have added to the flavour

)
If it looks good, smells good and tastes good, probably best not to think too hard about where it came from - same-same as BGs.
