You will love it buddy, You dont need to plan anything, I didnt, Just get yourself a good super soaker and just get yourself down bangla, You will have a blast, Songkran was possibly one of my best experiences ever for me, It was brilliant...
Actually getting depressed now thinking about it

Yeah good advice Wolf (forgot about that).. If you have a camera or a good phone, Maybe best to leave them at the hotel, Or tie the phone up in a water proof bag or a condom....
I had all my stuff in bags, But took my brand new phone (Paid 300euro for it) out of the bag for a couple of seconds to answer a call, Big mistake, Someone threw a bucket of water straight over me, Drenching the phone and it has never worked properly since.... So be careful...

I have decided to go buy me a bunch of Singha and go sit in the jacuzi and repeat every night during Songkran. Oh happy life!

Those sealable plastic bags are the best and most pharmacies have them.
I walked into a pharmacy on Soi Sai Nam Yen to ask if they had any and the lady very kindly gave them for free..no purchases necessary.

What an unerwater camera or one of those cheap underwater cameras?
Those cheap ones might be worth considering.
They are only a few Euros to buy.
Would not want to take the big one out - can get lost or broken!!!
Cheers,
Wolf

Hi,
I got 2 of those underwater cameras for €10 each - roll film - but they will certainly last as they are for underwater to 7.5 m!
Looking forward to see the girls dry their boobies and everything else!
Cheers and a Happy GET WET,
Wolf

And you would be totally wrong, Forget the water altogether, Its the atmosphere of the place during Songkran which is really special, Everyone out of the street enjoying themselves, Loads of girls around and all having fun, There is nothing like it IMO...

Yes..For me the highlight was not the madness of the water fights as such.
It was the DJ set up on Rat-tu-thid rd opposite the P&S hotel which IMHO was better than the soi bangla party in the daytime.
The music was pumping, we were all p1ssed, dancing in the street and chucking water about...great fun
