Songkran 2006 DVD
I picked up a Songkran 2006 DVD the other day. It was shot outside Kangaroo on Bangla, both during the day and night. Lots of water, sanuk and a coupla’ cuties. Well worth a viewing for those who wonder what all the fuzz is about, or for those wanting to relive past experiences.
I would like to share it with those interested, but I’m not sure how to proceed. I could make some copies or maybe use a torrent? Any ideas?

Dunno yet. All new to this DVD ripping stuff. Tried DVD-TO-MPEG but the quality was lousy. Tried DVD Cloner and got good quality on VOB. Then I guess I should try VOB to ??? format...

Don't thank me...
Hope I'm not hung later for posting another guy's movie  Just wanted to share it as I thought it was very well made and captured the madness of Songkran perfectly. (Also love the laughing soundtrack...) Last edited by sundancekid : 23-04-2006 at 00:55.

I am not going to be involved in piracy/copies of a product another bar created and sell here.

Unless we have permission from the author (ask him if you see him) then we cant, but I do know Kangaroo sells the DVD as some other BMs bought it there.

To be honest, I went to Karangaroo myself to buy the DVD but the staff guy I talked to didnt know about it and suggested I went to Aussie Bar. It was yesterday.
I do know some BMs bought the DVD. Sundancekid, try to find the guy who made it (if possible) and ask if its OK to share his video? Or where to buy it.

I figure if it is a movie made for resale, shouldnt there be an aftertext with credits? I mean ofcourse not necessarily, but if i was gonna sell a movie i would definitly add credits in the end.

The video was just a "home movie". The only text was the title Songkran 2006. My bet it's just the DJ trying to make some xtra cash. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I know the guys at Kangaroo quite well, and can ask them if they know who made it.

Well, i have the DVD. I got it from the maker himself (for free BTW
 ). Know him for 2 years aleready. I also have the DVD he made last year 2005. Even better i think. Always nice, brings back some good memories.
