Faulty Tower's heineken!!
i know when it comes to draft beer it really goes a long way if the tap is cleaned regularly.
i had a great henieken at faulty's(crusty's bar, not faulty's room) and it was so fresh from the tap
for the last week ive been ordering heineken drafts wherever it is available and none have measured up. and i really enjoy my beers, so makes a difference
also, i give 2 thumbs up to fault towers in general. just a nice place to grab some food, talk to the new bm's. they have a different perspective, good to hear from some of their experiences

Faulty Towers is going Dry !!!!!
I'm talking about me , not the bar. Have just arrived back in London and am back to work on Monday , so will be "on the wagon" again.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your trips to the bar Paullie , lots of BM's popped in for a few beers or some food and it was good to sit and chat. I also found that as most visited in the afternoon/early evening , it was easier to have conversations than at night when bars were busy and noisy.

Heineken is one of my favourite beers (excpet for the dreaded heinekin farts the morning after) but I too find that it tastes a bit strange in LOS. I will have to check out Crusty's bar when I am back in May.
Now if only I can find a bar that serves Castle lager

Hi Paul,
I'm back to drinking beer again this year as it seems my allergic condition has improved, and it was great to get back to SF and have some of the many drafts available here. I always prefer draft to bottled! In Patong, the ladybars and discos generally don't have drafts and since that's where I do most of the drinking, I didn't have much draft there. I'll be sure to try the Heineken's draft at FT next time!
BTW, did FT change hands in the past year? When I went there last year, I could have sworn the owner was from Norway!
And while we're on the subject of beer, I really like the Angkor draft beer in Cambodia. Very cheap, too!

Crustasian has had Faulty's for a long time now , originally with Arnt(the Norwegian guy) who sold his share of the bar to Simon (BM name Simbo).

OK, thanks. Went swimming with Arnt a number of times, and he told me he owned FT. He's a real nice guy, nice family.

ill deffinately have to check out FT.
last trip we found the islander, not a bad place for a late breakfast/lunch depending when we woke up.
nothing beats a good burger, not like those other mass produced cow paddies
