nicke how busy is patong now?
i read in the phuket gazzette that tourism is picking up in thailand.are there a lot more people in patong now?is it getting busier and are some of the bars that closed reoppening like tiger?

Patong is still quiet, it's true we get more asian tourists but they don't engage in nightlife activities.
June, July and AUgust is pretty much the same. Some days busy and some days quiet. August may be slightly better, I have many friends here now. Tiger open in November.
