Airline Tickets

Can anyone tell me how much it normally costs to fly out from the uk just before xmsa as the current price seems to be about £800. Or if you know of any good travel agents would be helpful

Last month I paid £565.00 + £52.00 tax for a flight leaving on the 17th December from Newcastle to Amsterdam (KLM) and then onto Bangkok with China Airlines.

Dates available were limited - I used Gazelle Travel to sort it out..

after a recommendation from the fellow board members,i contacted
EAST TRAVEL, on 014730214305/210770
not only was they very very helpfull, they found the following package for me
Birmingham - dubai-bangkok-phuket and back again
flying with emirates and thai air plus 11 nights at the busarai resort/hotel in patong beach(xmas to new year ) all for £1200.00
i was having trouble just getting the flights for that price flying from my home city of Birmingham especially at christmas time.
so i would say it is well worth giving them a call.

i flew out on 27th june and got my ticket for £320 with thai airways got back about a week ago, 15th august.

I only got my flight so cheap because one of my closest thai friends, her dad works for thai airways.....hence nice discounts for me

The cheapest i found normally was £420 with thai airways but that is with STA travel because i am a student.

I just bourght a ticket on Thai. 730GBP. It's an open ticket with long validity, and was the cheapest we could get with this validity and dates.

I don't pay for it however, so I don't look too hard.

I reckon it all depends on dates - after the schools break up the prices go up a huge ammount. If you flew out on 9/12 returning 1/1 you could fly BA LHR to BKK for £620 then £90 for flight to phuket
